EXPENDITURE OF HIGHWAY MACHINERY CAPITAL
RESERVE FUNDS SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Neversink will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall, 273 Main Street, Grahamsville, New York, at 7:15 p.m. prevailing time, on April 12, 2017, in connection with the expenditure of Highway Machinery Capital Reserve Funds. Said expenditure is for the purchase of a 2017 CAT 950GC Rubber Tire Loader in an amount not to exceed $189,000.00, at which time all interested persons will be heard.

Standard Work Day and Reporting Resolution for Elected and Appointed Officials
Chapter 680 of the Laws of 2002 enacted General Municipal Law §209-cc, requiring the ANNUAL REPORTING OF THE PRESENCE OF WILD ANIMALS. Pursuant to this law, every person in New York State who owns, possesses or harbors a wild animal as set forth in §209-cc must report annually its presence on or before April 1, of each year with the Town Clerk where the animal is kept. A list of the common names of animals to be reported is available at the Town Clerk’s Office. Failure to file as required will subject you to penalties under the law.

TOWN OF NEVERSINK EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
PART-TIME BUILDING MAINTENANCE PERSON
This part-time position involves the performance of a variety of skilled tasks involved in the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment. The duties of the position may require basic duties involving standard building trades and will also involve unskilled tasks such as snow removal, lawn maintenance and brush removal.
The position is available starting mid-March at an hourly rate of $22.00 per hour not to exceed 17.5 hours per week, paid bi-weekly.

The Town of Neversink will be accepting applications for Lifeguard positions at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds Pool for the 2017 season.
Application forms are available at the Town Hall, Grahamsville, NY Monday thru Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Applicants must include copies of all current certifications, length of time available to work and any needed time off when submitting their applications. (Photocopies of certifications can be made at the Town Hall when the application is brought in.)
